I Owned My Urge To Blend The Edges Of My World And Found A Unique Advantage
Growing up I’d looked up to single-mindedness.
A skill I totally lacked. Then and now.
I see both sides of the coin. And the edge. And the context.
I’m a drop of ink on a blotting paper. All fuzzy edges.
I tried fighting it.
That backfired.
My kaleidoscope vision got turbocharged 🚀 Now there was no way I could swim against my current.
So I gave in.
I owned my urge to blend and bleed the edges of my world.
I found my interfaces : Psycho-Dermatology, Body-Mind, Wordy-Silent, Conscious-Unconscious
Along came the doorways. Tunnels linking my rabbit holes
Many of my interests started as discrete blocks. But they came alive as I plunged into them. They grew; diverging, converging, connecting.
Over time, my rabbit holes evolved into an ant farm. A living, growing network of pathways. And it gave me a unique advantage.
I can Cross-pollinate 🐝🐝
Use frameworks from one field to solve problems in another.
Mix and match puzzle pieces and grow a new story.
Wanting to zoom out and see beyond boundaries, made me
I’d once worried if it was a boring disadvantage.
Now, older and wiser 😉, I see it for the gift it truly is.
I’m grateful for the fun, power and resilience it brings to my life.
